Residents will gather in seven Winona neighborhoods Thursday for the local version of National Night Out.
The event gives local law enforcement, first responder agencies, and city officials, a chance to meet and greet residents in a social situation to help promote good relationships. The gatherings will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Groups of local agency representatives will be making stops at each gathering during the evening.
On the east side of Winona, gatherings will take place at: Sobieski Park...East 8th Street near Franklin...Walnut Street between 6th and 7th Streets...and east 5th Street between Walnut and Market.
On the west side of town the gatherings will be held at: the Maplewood Townhomes...Harriet Street between 9th and 10th...and 4th Street between Harriet and Wilson.
