SEMAC Grants



The Board of Directors of the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council, Inc. (SEMAC) awarded 28 grants for a total of just over $110,000 in funding to applicants throughout southeastern Minnesota.
                       
This included sixteen McKnight Individual Artist Grants, seven General Operating Support Grants to arts organizations and five Artists in Education Grants.

Winona County received nearly $14,000 in grant money, including the Hiawatha Valley Education District, which received a $2,000 Artists in Education grant for Young Writers Conference  and Winona Senior High School received a $2,000 Artists in Education grant for Hard Cover Book Residency.

$10, 000  went to Fillmore County and Goodhue County received about $17, 000, including the Red Wing Arts Association, who received a $4,000 General Operating Support grant for Umbrellas of Red Wing event.
