A 35 year old man who was discovered unconscious in the downtown area is facing drug charges.                 
                       
Police investigator Chris Nelson said firefighters returning to their station from an earlier call discovered Thomas Edward McGann lying unconscious in the area of Third and Franklin Streets about 12:45 a.m. Saturday.
                     
When they were unable to awake him they discovered he was in possession of a tube that contained traces of a white powdery substance that tested positive for cocaine.  McGann was cited with fifth degree possession of a controlled substance before he was transported for treatment.  Nelson said McGann had no permanent address.
