The Buffalo County Sheriff's Department is seeking the public's help in locating a man who robbed a Nelson liquor store Sunday evening. Authorities said the man forced back into the Discount Liquor Store a female clerk just after closing time about 9:15 p.m. The clerk had closed the store for the night when a man forced her back inside, and forced her into a back room where she was pushed to the floor sustaining a minor head injury when she struck a shelf. The man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and checks. The white male suspect is described as in his early 20s, 5-feet, 7-inches tall, wearing dark clothing.  The clerk said he was seen leaving in a bright, silver-colored car which traveled south from the scene. The Buffalo County Sheriff's Department is asking that anyone with information about the robbery contact the department at 608-685-4433.
