A wagon train will be traveling some back roads in Winona County this weekend.
The Sheriff's Department's Mounted Posse is sponsoring the 29th Annual Wagon Train for Youth Friday through Sunday that will feature as many a 29 wagons, carts and carriages, along with as many as 40 mounted riders.
Their base camp will be the Winona County fairgrounds with excursions to Whitewater State Park and Amish country south of St. Charles. They will be traveling along Highway 74 between St. Charles and Whitewater State Park at one point and vehicles need to be aware.
Bruce Montplaisir with the Winona County Mounted Posse will serve as wagon master.
