The Lewiston Kwik Trip is celebrating the reopening of the convenience store after being closed for three months for the construction of brand new store.
The Lewiston Journal reports that residents no longer have to travel to other communities for their gas and food. The new store is located at the same place as the old one at Highway 14 and County Road 25. It is 700 to 800 square feet larger than the old one. The new store opened last Thursday. A grand opening was planned for Thursday.
The St. Charles Press reports the St. Charles Kwik trip is undergoing a remodeling project that includes constructing a new addition. A home behind the store has been demolished to make way for the expansion. The store will remain open during construction which is expected to be completed by December.
