The Winona Area Public Schools Foundation has welcomed its new director.  Shelly Milek began her new duties as Executive Director on September First, replacing Susan Eddy who retired after four years on August 31st.
                 
Milek brings a wealth of experience in finance to her new position having served as market president for Home Federal in Winona, and manager and loan officer for Federated Employee Credit Union in Owatonna.  In addition, she serves as current chair of the Winona Merit Board and as a board member of the Winona Community Foundation.
                 
The WAPS Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching and expanding educational opportunities for students in the Winona Public Schools.
