Riverway Learning Community

Riverway Learning Community Charter School has completed the first week of school at its new location at 1733 Service Drive.

Three temporary classrooms are currently in use but classes will be moved into new, specifically designed spaces at the end of the month.

Riverway started the school year on September 4th with 103 students but that number grew to 113 during the first week as Winona area families learned about the new facility.

Nearing the self imposed 120 student limit, a waiting list has been created for the early childhood/kindergarten class.

The school has Montessori classrooms for age three through the sixth grade, project-based education for seventh through twelfth graders and an inclusive special education program.
