A man who is running a marathon a day to go from the Minnesota/Canada border to the Gulf of Mexico to honor soldiers who died in Afghanistan will stop near Preston on Monday afternoon.
          
Mike Ehredt will be at the intersection of U.S. 52 and Preston Township Road 229, about 2.5 miles southeast of Preston, at approximately 2:00 p.m. Monday.  

According to the Post-Bulletin, he stops every mile and plants a flag with the name of a fallen soldier on it as part of his second Project America Run.
