The Minnesota State Patrol says a 26-year-old Winona resident was injured in a motorcycle crash early Sunday.

The patrol said Emerald Hulsing was eastbound on Interstate 90 in Winona County when the Suzuki cycle struck a raccoon causing Hulsing to crash.

Hulsing was treated and released at at Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse.

The crash was reported at 5:00 a.m. Sunday..
