Minnesota City Burglary
The Winona County Sheriff's Department is investigating a burglary at a Minneosta City residence.
Chief Deputy Ron Ganrude said someone entered a residence through and unlocked window and removed a number of items.
The resident reported the missing items included a DELL laptop computer, cell phone, a small safe, comforter. bed tapestry, 22-caliber revolver, and a planter.
The items had a total value of nearly 39-hundred dollars.
The break-in was reported Friday afternoon.
The Sheriff's Department is also investigating the theft of some expensive radio-controlled cars from an unlocked shed in La Crescent along Linx Road.
Included was a truck and a crawler, plus a remote and a motor. Total value was 17-hundred-30 dollars......
