Jail and Bail

The annual Jail and Bail fundraising event in Winona on Wednesday brought in over $19,000.

The funds are used by the March of Dimes to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.  Local volunteers had to raise funds in order to "get out jail" at Jefferson's Pub and Grill.

Those who raised more than one thousand dollars were:  Bonnie Steimfeldt of Stienny's Bar...Jeff Taylor of Ag Specialists...Lisa Koetz of Peerless Chain...and Deb Kaczorowski and Mary Steffenhagen of Watkins Inc.  The money will help fund research, education, advocacy, and community programs to help moms and babies.
