Goodview officials plan to interview this week prospective candidates to take over operations of "The Bar" after it closes.
                 
City Administrator Dan Matejka said interviews with five individuals interested in the operation will take place on Thursday.  With the current operator closing down at the end of this month, Matejka says he hopes to have a replacement soon.

Matejka said just how long The Bar will be closed depends on the plans the new operator will have.  Current operator Tom Overland informed the city he would cease operations at the end of this month.
