Krage says the statement says that he is intent on raising taxes on families and small businesses. Krage says this is completely false. Krage says he will support legislation to raise taxes on the upper income bracket and is against heaping taxes on the shoulders of the middle class.
Krage denies that he wants to unionize small businesses and daycares and, as a former teacher, he would never vote to borrow from school budgets to balance the state budget.
Krage also refuted the claim he was handpicked by special interest groups and was endorsed by the Alliance for a Better Minnesota. He says he had never heard of this group, nor was he endorsed by them, and they have not donated to his campaign.
