New Rushford School

The Rushford-Peterson School Board plans to begin a ten-week voter education campaign in early October as it prepares for a December 19th bond referendum to finance the construction of a new school building.

The Tri-County Record reports the district will seek voter approval of a 15-million dollar new pre-kindergarten through fifth grade building.

It's being called phase one, with the second phase at a future date being an addition to house grades six through twelve.

The board held its first meeting with its consultant and architect this week.

The new building will be constructed on land the district owns near the athletic fields in Rushford...
