Parents and community members of Rushford/Peterson School District are being encouraged to get involved in an effort to encourage the Ellen Degeneres Show to help the district build an new school.
                      
According to school officials, the Ellen Show has heard about the plight of the school district to build a new school and since the show has helped schools in the past, they are hoping to get their support.
                      
They encourage people to log on to the Ellen Show's website at www.ellentv.com and email them telling of the community's efforts in getting a new school built and how it would benefit the children and the area.
