Students in the Winona Area Public schools will be released early from classes on Monday, September 24th.
The school district says it will be the first of seven early release days during the school year to implement professional learning communities to address student achievement.
Releasing at 12:15 p.m. on Monday will be students at the district e;elementary schools including Goodview, Jefferson, W-K, Madison, Ridgeway, and Rollingtone.
Releasing at 1:30 p.m. be students at Winona High and Middles Schools, plus the FCC Day Treatment program, the Senior High Greenhouse Program and the Winona Area Learning Center.
Additional early release days will be held in October, November, January, March, April,l and May..
