Mayo-Hyundai
Mayo Clinic received a check for 250 thousand dollars Friday that will go toward childhood cancer research.
In connection with September National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Hyundai Hope On Wheels will be donating more than $10 million to support childhood cancer research projects across the country.
The Regional manager and dealers of Hyundai presented the check to research physicians in the Mayo pediatric program. During the presentation, the children who have been affected by cancer placed their hand prints in a colorful paint on a canvas to commemorate their brave battle.
KTTC.com reports Hyundai Hope On Wheels began in 1998, and since then has donated more than $57 million to childhood cancer research and programs for kids and families battling the disease.
