Buffalo County authorities said an Independence man was pulled from a vehicle that rolled several times and ended up in a creek Saturday.
The Sheriff's Department said a vehicle driven by Steven Roskos was eastbound on Highway 121 near county Road BB near Independence when it went out of control on a curve about 11:15 p.m. The vehicle entered the ditch, rolled several times, and ended up on its roof in a creek that was about three feet deep.
Authorities said Roskos officers pulled Roskos out of the partially filled vehicle to safety. Roskos was charged with third offense driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain control of his vehicle, and operating after his driver's license was revoked.
