Spokesperson Kayla Spalding says the event for Ryan Sense will not only be held to raise awareness of the illness in veterans but also help Sense pay expenses to travel to Florida to obtain a service dog. Spalding says Ryan has qualified to receive the service dog free so any funds left over from his expenses will go to the group that provides the dogs to military veterans.
Sunday's event will be held at the American Legion Vets Center in Winona from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Along with a chicken dinner, a silent auction will also be held featuring an autographed GreenBay Packer's football and other sports-related
