Winona Police said a Winona man reported that his residence was burglarized and over $5,000 with of items were missing.
                
Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams said the residence is located in the 500 block of west Howard Street.  He said the man reported discovering the items were missing on Wednesday after he was released from the Law Enforcement Center jail.
                
Missing items included $2400 in cash, four watches, two American Eagle Proof dollars, and six rings.
