It's a bizarre story that still isn't resolved after a man is shot while hunting.
According to KTTC.com, it happened Thursday just west of Lake Zumbro.
The 74 year old was sitting in a ground blind when he heard a bang. After he realized he'd been hit with bird-shot in his leg and back, he yelled out for help.
He said he saw three men wearing orange hunting vests and hats. One of them began approaching him until he yelled out that he was shot. That's when he said it sounded like the individuals ran in the direction of the parking lot.
All three of them were Caucasian and the victim said there appeared to be a 12-year-old youth along side of them that wasn't wearing any camouflage or orange.
The man was able to drive himself to a nearby house to call 911.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Wabasha County Sheriff's Office at (651) 565-3361.
