The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department says a 67-year-old Marshfield, Wisconsin man was killed when the motorcycle he was riding was struck by a semi-tractor trailer Tuesday afternoon.
                 
Authorities identified the man as Donald Frenzel.

They said a the westbound semi lost control on a curve on Highway 54 in the Town of Gale and flipped on to its side.

The truck then struck the eastbound motorcycle.
  
The truck driver was identified as 36-year-old Hugo Melendez of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, who sustained minor injuries.

Authorities said the crash resulted in Highway 54 being closed for about seven hours.
