Winona State Cross Country Team Ranked For the First Time
Paul Van Beek Reporting
For the first time in school history, the Winona State women’s cross country team is ranked in the Division II national poll, jumping in at the number 18 spot. The Warriors earned their first ever national ranking thanks to an extremely strong showing at the prestigious Roy Griak Invitational last weekend in Minneapolis. WSU placed second in a meet that featured 38 teams while finishing ahead of seven nationally ranked squads.
