The Lewiston Journal reports the council decided to close down city hall on Tuesdays during the month of October. Ambulance, fire, police and public works departments will remain open for emergency services.
The closure is being done on a trial basis. City Hall will remain open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday,and Friday.
The council is also seeking feedback to see what Lewiston residents think about the closure.
