The Buffalo County Fire Association, in conjunction with the Buffalo County Sheriff's Department  has issued a burning ban effective immediately for the entire county.
                    
The fire ban will be in effect until an ample amount of rain has fallen to improve dry conditions.

The agencies are also requesting that any suspicious activity be reported immediately to the local fire department  by calling the sheriff's office at 608-685-4433.
  
The  Buffalo County Fire Association includes departments in: Alma, Dodge, Durand, Fountain City, Mondovi, Nelson, Tri-County and Waumandee..
