Twenty-one year old Wade A. Olson of Cochrane, was sentenced to six months in jail in Buffalo County Court with credit for 162 days already served for violating probation on a 2011 sentence for possession of THC.
Olson had been sentenced to 60 days in jail and two years of probation in December.
Olson is now scheduled to have a competency hearing Oct. 24 on proceeding with a felony narcotic charge that received deferred prosecution when he was sentenced in December.
The felony involved illegal dealing of a prescription drug stimulant in Buffalo City. Olson also now stands accused of new charges from 2011 for misdemeanor theft and felony burglary.
