Injury Crash

The Minnesota State Patrol says two Winona residents were injured in a two vehicle crash on Interstate 90 on Sunday afternoon.

The Patrol said 24 year old Kelsey Papenfuss and 17 year old Mckenna Papenfuss were taken by ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital to be treated for their non life-threatening injuries.

A vehicle driven eastbound on I-90 by Kelsey Papenfuss collided with a second eastbound vehicle which it was trying to pass. The impact caused the Papenfuss vehicle to end up in the median.  The second vehicle was driven by Travis House of Chatfield.

The crash was reported about 4:30 p.m. and occurred in Winona County near St. Charles.
