Big Muddy Run-Results
The 3rd Annual Big Muddy Run on Saturday at La Crosse's Myrick Park was a big success.
167 participants, ages 7 to 58, braved the chilly weather and ran, wallowed, climbed, slid, crawled and stumbled through mud pits and obstacles.
The event raised over $25,000 to support affordable, hands-on learning and fun at the Children's Museum of La Crosse.
The fastest male and female runners in each age category received Muddy Shoe Trophies. Second and third place finishers received medals.
The Big Muddy Run is annual event to raise funds for the Children's Museum of La Crosse, which receives no government or United Way support and maintains affordable access for the public.
