The Bar in Goodview has a new operator pending approval of a new liquor license by the State of Minnesota.
                 
City Administrator Dan Matejka said the Goodview City Council used a unanimous vote today to offer a lease to Jen Laturno who previously served as the bar manager before it closed on September 30th.
                 
Matejka told Winona Radio News Laturno needs a liquor license before she can reopen the establishment. It's hoped the bar can reopen by November First.  Matejka said not many changes are expected initially by Laturno with weekend entertainment continuing.
                
He said Laturno was initially the council's second choice from five persons who were interviewed. Laturno was chosen after the first choice withdrew an application.  Laturno's lease initially is for one year with an option for up to five years.
