They are the District 28 race between Republican Incumbent Jeremy Miller and his Democratic challenger Jack Krage, both of Winona...and the District 21 race between Republican incumbent John Howe and his democratic challenger Matt Schmit, both of Red Wing.

Democrats are hoping to prove him wrong - especially in Senate District 21. Darin Broton, a DFL strategist, said Schmit is a strong candidate who has been raising a lot of money and working hard.
