Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has appointed a new district attorney for Trempealeau County.
                
The Governor made the appointment of Taavi McMahon official after McMahon had been serving as special prosecutor.

McMahon had temporarily replaced District Attorney Jeri Marsolek who resigned affective October First, for medical reasons.

Sheriff Richard Anderson is supporting McMahon's appointment according to a press release.

McMahon was officially sworn in as the new Trempealeau County District Attorney during a special ceremony Thursday.
