First he was endorsed by the National Federation of Independent Business in Minnesota, now Republican State Senator Jeremy Miller has been given an award by the group.
               
The state's largest small business association has awarded Miller the Guardian of Small Business  Award for his support of the group's issues during the state legislature's 87th session.  The group says the award is based on lawmaker's votes on ten of its key issues taken up during the 2011-2012 legislative session.
                
Miller is seeking election to the new Senate District 28.
