Twin Cities.com is reporting Monsignor James Habiger passed away on October 9th, from lung disease and congestive heart failure.
Habiger had retired as executive director of the Minnesota Catholic Conference, and chaplain for the University of St. Thomas and the Minnesota House and Senate. Last year he celebrated his 60th year as a priest.
