The Minnesota State Patrol says one person was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Wabasha County Monday afternoon.
The Patrol said a vehicle driven southbound on Highway 42 collided with a second vehicle driven northbound by 77-year-old James Ehlers of Rochester. The vehicle also collided with a third vehicle driven by 78-year-old Holger Baasch of Wabasha.
The name of the 27-year-old driver of the first vehicle was not immediately released. A passenger in the Baasch vehicle, identified as 74-year-old Lynn Baasch, also of Wabasha, was injured. the two Baasch's were taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
