Car Crash--Fire



The State Patrol says a 26-year-old Eitzen man escaped serious injury when he crashed his vehicle on Highway 44 in Houston County Monday and it caught fire.
                  
The Patrol said Casey Colsch was southbound on Highway 44 near Loomis Road when he fell asleep causing the vehicle to enter the ditch and roll. The vehicle then caught fire but Colsch was able to escape with non life-threatening injuries.
                  
He was taken to Gunderson Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse.  The Hokah Fire Department assisted at the scene.  The crash was reported at 8:34 p.m.
