More criminal charges have been filed in connection with a loud party in Winona held last Friday night where 64 alleged underage drinkers were cited.
Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams said five occupants of the residence at 577 Souix Street have now been charged with violating the city's social host ordinance. Williams said the five are scheduled to make their initial court appearances on the charges on December 10th.
The five are identified as: 20-year-olds Hayden Williams Baker, Brian Abraham Bergen, Bradley Douglas Mills, Garret Lee Stokke, and 21-year-old Cameran Joseph Schmit. All but Schmit are also charged with underage consumption of alcohol.
It took seven officers, including some state patrol troopers, to round up the party-goers. Police reports also indicate it took a search warrant to gain entry to the residence because the partiers refused to allow the officers to enter.
