Brian Knutson is one of four candidates running for two at-large seats on the Goodview City Council.  Knutson has been a resident of Goodvuiew since 2003 and is an engineer at TRW Automotive.
                   
He told Winona Radio News he would like to bring his engineering background to the council as it addresses a number of issues.  Knutson said he believes Goodview is getting a good bang for its buck and wants to help the city in its goal to achieve a no tax increase budget. He also believes the city should continue its partnership with the greater region on the issue of frac sand mining and its impact on the city.

Also running for the two at-large council seats are current incumbent Sandy Erdman, Linda Schott, and Charlie Andering. The top two voter-getters on November 6th will be elected to 4-year terms.

Current Councilman Steve Baumgart is running unopposed to replace Mayor Jack Weimerskirsch who is retiring after serving some 22 years.
