The event will also celebrate the new family which will purchase the home when it's completed. The future homeowner, Terri Root, works for the Mayo Clinic in Rochester as a patient appointment coordinator. She grew up in Fillmore County.
Root will purchase the home once it is completed next spring. She has three children.
Since the exterior walls of the home have been completed, the wall-raising celebration will focus on the interior walls. The celebration will be held at 8:30 a.m November 17th, and the public is invited to attend.
