Give to the Max Day

The United Way of the Greater Winona area. and several of its funded partners, is asking local and area residents to make a donation on the fourth annual "Give to the Max Day" coming up on November 15th.

United Way Executive Director, Beth Moe, says this is an opportunity for people to make a difference in the local community by participating in the online event.

During last year's Give to the Max Day over 47,500 donors logged on to GiveMN.org. The result was $13.4 million raised for almost 4,000 Minnesota non-profits.

This year, GiveMN will offer several incentives to encourage donor participation.  Winona community members can support the drive and give non-profits and schools an opportunity to win prize grants up to $12,500 as top earners. The non-profit organizations will also be eligible for a $10,000 addition to the funds they receive.
