Minnesota Legislature



Representatives Gene Pelowsk (D-Winona), Greg Davids (R-Preston) and Steve Drazkowski (R-Mazeppa) were all headed back to St. Paul in 2013 along with Senator Jeremy Miller (R-Winona).  It appears that Senator John Howe (R-Red Wing) may have been defeated by his DFL challenger Matt Schmit.

Democrat Gene Pelowski defeated his Republican challenger Adam Pace 12,969 votes to 6,345.

Republican Gred Davids defeated DFL'er Ken Tschumper 12,093 votes to 8,597.

With 98% of precincts reporting Republican Steve Drazkowski was well ahead of Democrat Bruce Montplaisir 12,093 to 8,597 early Wednesday morning..

However, with 94% of the vote reported early Wednesday, Republican John Howe appeared headed to defeat at the hands of Democratic challenger Matt Schmit.  Howe was trailing Schmitt 17,973 to 19,588.
