Wabasha County Commissioner Merle Norman has asked for a recount in the election for his third district seat.
               
County Auditor-Treasurer Denise Anderson told Winona Radio News the recount will take place next Tuesday, November 13th, at 1:00 p.m. The place will be the Wabasha County Courthouse Board Room
               
Tuesday's results showed that incumbent Merle Norman lost the hotly  contested election by just four votes to his challenger Donald Springer, 1123 to 1119.  Springer is a former Wabasha County Commissioner.
               
Anderson said the final results of the recount could be determined by late next Tuesday depending on any challenges to the ballots.
