Winona State University will host a public forum, "Clean Energy, Climate, and Health," with polar explorer Will Steger at 7 p.m. Tuesday, in Stark Hall, room 103.
Minnesota is on a clean energy path that is bringing benefits to human health and our air, water and natural resources. Steger, Minnesota's own eyewitness to climate change, will present his firsthand account with photographs from his expeditions.
This event is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by the Department of Geoscience, the Will Steger Foundation and Fresh Energy. Fresh Energy's J Drake Hamilton will also be a presenter.
