Anti Smoking Campaign



ClearWay Minnesota has launched a new public information campaign designed to inform Minnesotans that tobacco is still an urgent problem in our state.
                         
The campaign includes a series of television commercials, online advertisements, bus sides, and billboards.  Clearway Minnesota CEO David Willoughby says the tobacco industry spends about 150 million dollars a year on advertising in Minnesota
          
Willoughby says in Minnesota, about 650 thousand people still smoke and the state loses about 5100 lives each year due to tobacco use.
