The Winona Area Public School Board will canvass last week's election when the board meets this coming Thursday, at City Hall.
                
The board will certify the results that saw three new members elected: Brian Zeller in the Third District, Tina Lehnertz in the Fifth District, and Jean Nelson in the Fourth District, who ran unopposed.
                
Board members will also get a state of the budget report on the 2012-13 and 2013-14 district budgets. In addition, board member Mohammed Elhindi will present his proposal on budget reduction measures.
               
The board will also discuss a notice of the intent to issue $1.5 million in Capital Facility Bonds to finance energy improvements.  Thursday's meeting is at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall and is open to the public.
