Double DWI Arrest

One traffic stop...two DWI arrests.  Winona police said two Wisconsin men were cited with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop in Winona early Saturday morning

Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams said a officer wound up tasing 24-year-old Amadeus McCullum of La Crosse after he fled the vehicle when it was stopped at Fifth and Ben Streets about 2:30 a.m.  When the officer was subduing McCullum, a second man, identified as 32-year-old Bobby Dean Ball of Wausau, Wisconsin, who was with McCullum, attempted to flee the scene in the stopped vehicle.

Another officer was called in and managed to stop the vehicle Ball was driving.  Both men were cited with fourth degree DWI,  fleeing, and obstruction.  Ball was jailed because he also had a felony warrant out on him. McCullum was not jailed pending further investigation.
