The Winona Health Foundation's holiday fundraising campaign, Trees of Light, is underway.
The annual campaign is a way for community members to honor family and friends while making a contribution that will benefit individuals in need or support local healthcare projects.
This year, there will be three trees in the Winona Clinic lobby at 859 Mankato Avenue instead of the one tree that was previously displayed outside. Each donation in memory or honor of someone special will be visually matched by a corresponding colored ornament placed on the trees. Each
ornament will have a tag with the name of the honoree
Donations of 10-dollars to 1-thousand dollars can be directed to various Winona Health Foundation funds, such as Hospice, the Ben & Adith Miller Patient Care Fund, the area of the donor's choice or to the area of greatest need.
There will be a pair of Trees of Light ceremonies next month...in the clinic lobby Tuesday, December 4th, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and at the Lewiston Community Center on Sunday, December 9th, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
