The Winona County Historical Society hosts its annual Christmas House Tour this coming Sunday, December 2nd.
The event includes five different homes all decorated for the holidays plus the Tea House on the former College of St. Teresa campus. Society Executive Director Mark Peterson says the featured location will be the Chapel of the Angels, also on the former CST campus, which was constructed in the 1920s.
Also on the tour is a return visit to the Burke's residence located on the second floor above Burke's Furniture at East Third and Franklin Streets, where Peterson says visitors will see a number of changes.
Tickets are available at the Winona County History Center for $12 for non-members and ten dollars for members. The tour runs from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday. The Trestor Trolleys will be available for transport to the homes for an extra charge.
The other homes on the tour include: the Nick and Laurie Edstrom home on Sarnia Street...the Ortega family home in Valley Oaks...the Ellefson family home on Waterford Circle... and the Johnson family home on Sanborn west of Huff Street.
