The Winona State women’s basketball team used strong defense to roll over Clarke College last night 78-28. The Warriors forced 23 turnovers and held Clarke to 22.6 percent shooting from the field. Katie Wolff led four players in double figures with 16 points. She hit 4-5 three-pointers while the Warriors nailed 11-23 for the game.
Winona State improves to 6-1 and they will play their first conference game on Saturday when they host Upper Iowa.
