The Cotter girls’ basketball team suffered a heartbreaking loss in their season opener to Onalaska last night 50-46 in overtime. The Ramblers led by three late in the game but the Hilltoppers hit a three-pointer with fifteen seconds left to tie the game and send it into overtime. The Ramblers had to play the overtime session without post player Jo Beyer who scored 10 points in the game.

Paige Gernes led the way with 12 points and 5 assists and eighth grader Gabby Bowlin added ten points including three three-pointers
